Hanoi | 2012

The second leg of the backpacking session in September 2012 started and ended in Hanoi. I wrote a story about Hanoi for Tulisan back in 2012, but you can also find a more personalised version of the article here.

Depicting Hanoi through strokes and watercolours were such a pleasant way to prolong the memories while real life already had to commence. The city was always this bright and colourful in my head. It took me almost six months to finish this whole project. I became so lonely when the last part of the scene was coloured.
